I'm very pleased to recommend Roesbery Car Care of 3099 North Main Street, Walnut Creek. I recently purchased a late model used car and wished to establish an ongoing relationship with the proverbial "good mechanic." I selected Roesbery because I was impressed with their service provided to a friend over many years. I brought my new (to me) car to Roesbery and have been delighted with the experience. They offered a Saturday morning service appointment, and in addition to having them change the oil, I requested they give the car a close look to ensure the previous owner had not missed anything. Roesbery checked my vehicle over thoroughly and provided a detailed report. At their recommendation I approved replacement of the air filter and flushing the car's brake hydraulic fluid, which they did promptly and for a reasonable price. I met Tony, Roesbery's master mechanic, and found him warm and personable. Their service bays were full and the waiting area clean, if small. For anything but a very minor service you may find it preferable to wait at the nearby Starbucks, or visit one of the many neighboring restaurants, or just leave your vehicle and return later in the day. Roesbery called my cell phone when the job took a little longer than expected, and again when my car was ready. The Pleasant Hill BART station is just across freeway I-680, easily reached by Treat Boulevard. While Starbucks, Walgreens, and a number of good restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk, Roesbery will provide a complimentary ride there, or to the nearby Pleasant Hill BART station if needed. Roesbery is family owned and operated, and I fully expect them to service my vehicle for many years.

My car broke down on 680 in Walnut Creek this past June. I was able to get it off the freeway and next to Roesbery. The Manager / owner Mike was very personable and professional. He called later in the day with an explanation as to the problem and some minor other service the car needed. He was fair in his pricing and the next day I picked the car up repaired and assured that my regular mechanic had been giving me good service. If I lived in Walnut Creek I would not hesitate to use them again.

Great service, as always. I had a smog check done, at a reasonable price with a coupon. The bonus was that it was done quickly, I expected my truck to be down a much longer time.

I took a moment to look up the other reviews just to see if people felt the same way I did about this business and, I was happy to see that there are people that agree this is a great family owned business with reputable work. I wasn't too surprised to see disatisfied people because you will always see some sort of opposition when it comes to people's opinions. I just want to point out I am a female, and since I have seen it listed that this place takes advantage of females... I want to be clear that this is the furthest from the truth. I think the problem is you get what you pay for! I have had several things done to an older truck in need of an overhaul. Yes, I probably could have found a chop shop or another company desperate for work to do it cheaper, but here the work comes with a warranty and this shop is not about putting a band aid on the problem they find a solution. I found Roesbery Car Care to be very honest and upfront about costs, supporting all related charges. I would recommend this shop to anyone that wants an honest answers to real problems with their vehicle and in return wants honest,reliable work performed. If you want a place that will take your money, perform work cheap and consequently have to get it re-done this probably isn't the place for you. I would recommend this business to anyone in need of repairs, because I believe you get what you pay for, and it has been worth every dollar spent here.
